Bring the Rainforest and Pure Air Home
The Parlor Palm is the perfect addition if you’re looking to add an air purifying, easy-care tropical plant to a low light spot in your home. No matter your style preference, the Parlor Palm is sure to fit in flawlessly.
This resilient plant’s low maintenance makes it perfect for beginners and pros alike. The Parlor Palm is native to the tropical rainforests of Central America and thrives as one of the most highly sought after indoor plants in the U.S, though it can also be grown outdoors in warmer climates. Its slow growth means it’ll maintain a small size, but if you’d prefer a larger plant, you can repot once a year to help it grow more quickly.
The deep green foliage of the Parlor Palm brings an earthy feel to any space, and the textured foliage exudes the tropical nature of the rainforest. It’s sure to brighten and excite your indoor decor – who says you can’t bring the mountains of Guatemala to your living room?!
Not only is the foliage beautiful, but it clears and brightens the air in your home by purifying it. The Parlor Palm’s purification will have you feeling less stressed, less anxious, and happier because it removes toxins from the air. It’ll quite literally breathe new life into your home. Plus, it’s a great companion for Fern, Peace Lily, Elephant’s Ear, and Ginger Plants.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: An East or North-facing window is ideal for your Parlor Palm since it grows best in filtered or indirect, low light. Once you’ve chosen your location, plant your Parlor Palm in a pot that’s approximately twice the size of its shipped container.
2. Watering: First, the Parlor Palm loves humidity and moist soil. It’s easy to provide a humid environment by placing your plant in a bathroom, kitchen or near a humidifier. However, your Parlor Palm can be placed anywhere and thrive – simply ensure that you mist it regularly, so the soil remains moist. If you’re not sure when to mist your plant, simply check the soil down to around 2 inches. If the soil is dry, it’s time to mist your Parlor Palm.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer (preferably one made for house plants) monthly, during the growing season (spring to summer).
